Our Mission
We are here to brighten your day with our silly day-to-day lives and to bring awareness to the need for adopting, spaying/neutering and rescuing animals that have had a less-than-fortunate beginning. We are here to “provide safe hands, food, and shelter; to be their soft place to fall and strong hands to lift them back up”, as worded so beautiful by the animal rescue organization, TrueRescue.org .
Our History
In February 2022, a lady named Rosie was reading about a competition called “America’s Favorite Pet” , where the Grand Prize would be $5000 each to the top cat and dog. She submitted photos and bio of her rescue cat, “Crosby”, and to her suprise, he was accepted into the competition.
He quickly became a fan favorite through Facebook voting and garnished enough votes to place him 1st in his group week after week from over 61,000 cats. Crosby went on to the quarter-finals , placing him in the top 1%, with a 13th place finish.
Throughout the competition, friends, family and fans around the world followed the hilarious Facebook posts from Crosby and his adopted brother, “Buddy”.
When the daily updates and competition ended, they wanted more from the crazy, loveable kitties. Thus was born “Crosby and Buddy – Tails of Two Kitties”.
