Once upon a time there was an orange & white cat named Buddy. He was a rescue kitten, a “car engine baby”, as they said. He was orphaned, brought to True Rescue, adopted, and has a fur-ever home playing with his step-brother, Crosby, and sometimes his aloof half-sister, Miss Junior. You can go to his page to read Buddy’s full story. But this is Saturday Funnies, a series of blog posts about the crazy antics of Crosby and Buddy. So, as they say…”on with the show“! (Disclaimer: all props in this story were made safe for cat play)
“Hi Crosby, I’m Super Kitty today – come play with me!”

“Hi Buddy, what’s a Super Kitty?”
“It’s me using my super powers that I saw on TV last night! Most of the time, I’m just like other cats – sleeping, eating, playing, getting into trouble. But when I put on my Super Kitty cape, I get special feelings and my super powers kick into overdrive!”
“Like when you kicked me last night, Buddy?”
“Let me show you – this white cape let’s me fly like Superman does! And it makes me invisible so I can sneak up on people and attack them.”

“Buddy, It says PERSONAL BELONGINGS on it!”
“Yes, Crosby – it’s my personal cape so no one else can steal it. I made it from a bag Dad brought home and it works really good. You can’t even see me, right? But when I throw off my Super Kitty cape, I can swat you like this, hee hee!”

“Oof – Buddy – you got me!” That cape works great!” (Uh, sure, Buddy. Whatever you say…)

Mom has to help me put this one on sometimes. It’s heavy! Here’s a video of her helping. “
“Then I have this big red cape that keeps me hidden even more!”

“Come find me, Crosby!”
“Ha ha- fooled you!!”
And sometimes I scare myself!!”

“Buddy, you are so silly. You make me laugh. I am so glad Dad chose you for our entertainment – a Super Kitty with Super Powers – now I’ve heard it all!”
