“Crosby – Buddy – come meet your baby brother! He’s put on a little weight and is a little bigger, so he can come out of his bedroom to meet you guys!”

“But you have to be nice and gentle with him. I’ll be right here watching everyone so he doesn’t get hurt.”

“Good boy, Crosby! That’s Newman, your little step-brother. Be nice to the baby. Buddy, now it’s your turn.”

“Such a good boy, Buddy! See how Newman is copying what you do?  He’s learning from you!”

“You were tiny like that too – about 2 years ago.  Kitties grow up fast!”

“So now you and Crosby will be Newman’s big brothers to teach him things and play with him.”

“And when Newman gets scared or goes to the vet for his baby shots, Crosby will comfort him and make him feel better, just like he did with you,  Buddy.”
