“Crosby, I’ve been reading some cute sayings for Valentine’s day.”
“Like what, Buddy? Do you know what Valentine’s Day is all about?”
“No, but I have found some funny sayings for it like “I have strong felines for you!”

“That’s cute, Buddy. It’s a day that has been special for hundreds of years. People express their love for each other by giving candy, chocolates, flowers, and sending greeting cards. They use heart shapes, doves, and a Cupid angel on the cards. Let’s make some cards for Mom and Dad – tell me some of the sayings you have found.”
“OK, Crosby. How about “You are the cat’s meow” and “Mew are all I need, Valentine.” Here’s 2 more – “You are the Purr-fect Valentine” and “Will you be meow-entine?”
“Buddy, here’s two more -“I knead you meow and forever” and “Schedule me a vet appointment because you take my breath away”!

“Crosby, look at this cartoon – I really like this one for Dad!”

“And I think Mom will like this one!”

“And here’s one from me to you, Crosby – “Meow + You = Together Furever.”

“And Nicky says he wants to send this one to all of us!”

“Buddy, I want to send this one to my girlfriend, Floof!”

Give Your Cat Extra Love On Valentine’s Day!
Cats are always there for us to keep us company and show us love every day of the year. With that in mind, do something special to show how much you care for your kitty on this holiday.
Why not try showing your cat love in ways they can understand? Taking a nap with your kitty, petting them, and playing with them will all strengthen your bond with your favorite feline.
Just remember to keep your cat safe. There are a lot of holiday dangers for kitties, like chocolate, toxic plants or flowers, attractive gifts that present choking hazards, and more. With this in mind, keep the human gifts for the humans and safely out of the reach of curious felines. Get kitties nice, appropriate treats and toys.
Share your love with shelter cats. Perhaps you’ve given your own kitties enough love for the holiday (as if!) and you have some leftover affection that you’d like to share with someone, somehow. Or maybe you don’t have a cat for whatever reason, but love them dearly. The sad truth is that there are tons of shelter cats out there who need your love and attention…even a few minutes can make a big difference in the day of a cat who spends most of her time in a small kennel waiting to be adopted. If you have the time, please visit your local shelter and volunteer – whether it’s cleaning up, feeding, or simply socializing with the shelter’s cats, you’ll be helping to make someone’s day a little brighter. And I’m sure that your own cats will understand!
